Job summary

Morris Adjmi Architects, a leading design firm in New York, is seeking an Architectural Designer I/Architect I to join the team. This role involves contributing to design development, technical documentation, and coordination with consultants on projects of moderate size.

Candidates should have a professional degree in architecture, pursue licensure, and be proficient in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• ADI/AI actively pursuing architectural registration.
• Encouraged accreditations (AIA, LEED) are welcome.
• 3+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand the MA “Project Road Map” and deadlines.
• Participate in design from concept through documentation.
• Prepare client design presentations (images, 3D views, renderings).
• Develop client presentation content based on meeting agendas.
• Prepare drawings, schedules, and specifications under oversight.
• Coordinate with consultants and maintain project organization.
• Attend site visits and assist with field reports and punch lists.
