Job summary

James Hardie is seeking an Architect & Designer Development Manager to influence product positioning with specifiers through contractors, focusing on luxury residential markets. The role blends sales, relationship management, and process, building awareness of James Hardie products across architects, designers, and builders to drive specification business in the Northeast.

You will train specifiers on product features and CEUs, collaborate with local ASMs and dealers, and maintain up-to-date

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Strong understanding of the A&D community with relationships to architects/interior designers.
• Must have strong local contacts in the A&D community.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 50%.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture a specifier network among architects, designers, and builders.
• Develop project specifications based on specifiers’ needs.
• Maintain a project pipeline via James Hardie sales channels with local ASMs.
• Provide product/CEU training to specifiers.
• Engage with associations (AIA, ASID, ICAA, DLN) to increase awareness.
