Bass Pro Shops in Little Rock, AR is seeking an Archery Technician to support customers with bow setup, safety, and product demonstrations. You will perform assembly, tuning, and accessory installation while delivering expert guidance to help customers select and use archery gear.

The role emphasizes hands-on archery knowledge, strong customer service, and ongoing product training. Part-time position with employee discounts and benefits. Requires a high school diploma and 2+ years bow experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform bow setup for customers, including draw length, eye dominance, and draw weight.
• Must be able to perform bow assembly and install accessories (kisser button, peep sights, D loop, knock location, scope).
• Knowledge of arrow setup (length, spine, insert installation).
• Able to operate equipment like a bow press and chop saw.
• Instructs customers on safety, bow features and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and tune archery equipment for safety and proper function.
• Install accessory items on bows and demonstrate products.
• Answer technical questions to help customers understand operation and work completed.
• Continue training to improve proficiency and product knowledge.
• Maintain pricing, UPC integrity, inventory accuracy, and proper product displays.
• Assist customers with buying decisions by identifying needs and offering recommendations.
• Replenish shelves and keep area organized and stocked.
• Follow company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
