Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Woodbury, MN is seeking an Archery Technician to assist customers with archery equipment, perform bow setup, assembly, and safety checks, and demonstrate product features. You will troubleshoot gear, install accessories, and provide expert advice to help customers make informed purchases.

The role requires 2+ years bow experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. This part-time position offers employee discounts and benefits, with opportunities to grow product knowledge

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform bow setup for customers, including draw length, eye dominance, and draw weight.
• Must perform bow assembly and accessory installation (kisser button, peep sights, D loop, knock location, scope installation).
• Knowledge of arrow setup (arrow length, spine, insert installation).
• Must operate equipment such as a bow press and chop saw.
• Instructs customers on safety, bow features and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and tunes archery equipment to ensure safety and proper function.
• Provides information, assistance, and product demonstrations to customers.
• Replenishes shelves, maintains pricing and UPC integrity, and keeps displays clean and stocked.
• Assists with merchandising, signing, and product placement per guidelines.
• Delivers a legendary customer experience by identifying needs and recommending products.
