Bass Pro Shops in Cary, NC seeks an Archery TechnicianPart time to assist customers with archery gear, perform bow setups and assemblies, and demonstrate product features. You will troubleshoot equipment, install accessories, and provide safety guidance while supporting inventory, pricing integrity and shop displays.

The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and ongoing archery training to improve proficiency and deliver a legendary customer experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform bow setup for customers (draw length, eye dominance, draw weight).
• Capable of bow assembly and installing accessories like kisser button, peep sights, D loop.
• Knowledge of arrow setup: length, spine, insert installation.
• Operates bow press and chop saw safely.
• Provides safety guidance and brand information to customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide information, assistance and product demonstrations.
• Troubleshoot and tune archery equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Assist with pricing, inventory, displays and UPC integrity.
• Suggest products and programs (CLUB Membership, VOC, In-Store Pick-up).
• Replenish shelves and maintain organized, stocked work areas.
