Job summary

Lighthouse Technology Services, Inc. is seeking a Risk Process Technical Specialist (Archer) for a 12-18 month contract with hybrid work in Buffalo, NY. You will lead Archer VRM implementations, drive upgrades, and document standards and procedures.

Ideal candidates bring 20+ years in Risk Management, strong Archer experience, knowledge of risk appetite and assessments, and solid Agile, eGRC, and cybersecurity credentials. Strong technical writing a must.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience as a Risk Management Generalist
• Strong hands-on experience with Archer VRM or similar tools
• Expertise in Risk Appetite, Identification, and Assessment
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies in practice
• Experience with eGRC platforms and cybersecurity standards
• Proven technical writing skills for clear documentation

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and enhancement strategy for Archer VRM and related tools
• Drive Archer platform upgrade initiatives and configure systems for risk governance
• Document technical compliance standards and operating procedures
• Develop comprehensive test scripts and ensure quality delivery
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual risk reporting and appetite refresh
• Collaborate with tech teams and vendors to assess new tools
• Train team members on centralized control assessment practices and regs
• Establish escalation for remediation of control findings
• Mentor less experienced team members in technical assessments
• Perform deep dives to identify process gaps and governance improvements
