Job summary
The Davey Tree Expert Company is offering a Spring - Summer 2027 Arborist Trainee Internship in Leander, TX. Students will gain hands-on field experience in tree care, plant health care, sales and client services, while working with a mentor to build practical skills outdoors.

Qualifications
- Studying Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Landscape Design, Forestry or related discipline
- Driver’s license required; Commercial driver’s license highly valuable
- Enthusiasm for proper plant care and arboriculture
- Love of the outdoors
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Demonstrated ability to report for work regularly and punctually
- Collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Learn to be a tree doctor; be mentored through a variety of job experiences in tree care, health care, sales and client services
- Work on residential and commercial properties and in an office setting
