The Davey Tree Expert Company in Needham, MA is seeking a dynamic Sales Arborist Representative to join our team of tree care professionals. Your office is outdoors, offering a new view every day and the chance to educate customers on tree health while building lasting relationships.

Qualifications

Must obtain ISA Certified Arborist after hire.
Background in sales is a plus.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Tree Care Industry.
Regional plant and horticulture knowledge.
Good people skills; self-motivated; computer proficient and organized.

Responsibilities

Educate residential and commercial customers on the needs of their trees.
Provide customers with estimates based on their needs.
Develop and update annual plant health care programs.
Create and build relationships with new and existing clients.
Set up and supervise crew members assigned to customer jobs.
Work as part of the office and field management team.
Assist the District Manager in directing the team.

$70,000 -$130,000 based on experience

Job Duties

What You'll Do

Work as a tree doctor that makes house calls!
Educate residential and commercial customers on the needs of their trees.
Provide customers with estimates based on their needs.
Develop and update annual plant health care programs.
Create and build relationships with new and existing clients.
Set up and supervise crew members assigned to customer jobs.
Work as a part of the office and field management team.
The Sales Representatives assist the District Manager in the direction of the whole team.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Love of the outdoors
Must obtain ISA Certified Arborist ® after hire
Required: Valid driver’s license
Required: Minimum 3 years of experience in the Tree Care Industry
Preferred: Background in sales
Regional plant and horticulture knowledge
Good people skills; self-motivated; computer proficient and organized
Must be able to complete extension courses on Tree Biology, Tree Pruning and Removal, and Plant Health Care
Preferred: Relevant pesticide, CDL and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
