Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Sanford, NC is seeking a full-time Trimmer/Climber. You will trim and remove trees and branches, operate and service tools, and load and unload trucks while maintaining safe work sites.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to work at heights, and good hand-eye coordination. A driver's license is preferred; pre-employment drug screen may be required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights.
• No fear of heights and good hand-eye coordination.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Keeps trucks and work areas orderly and safe.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards.
