Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Greensburg, KY seeks a climber to climb, prune, and remove trees per Foreperson's directives, using ropes and safety saddles. Travel for storm restoration work will be required. The role emphasizes safety, tool inspection, and efficient debris handling.

Qualifications

• Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of knots, ropes, and rigging devices used in tree trimming and removal.

Responsibilities

• Climb, prune, and remove trees according to Foreperson's directives (use rope and safety saddle).
• Load and unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris; feed brush into chipper.
• Inspect and ensure proper working condition of tools and equipment.
• Safeguard employees and public from hazards by enforcing safe practices and maintaining a clean work area.
• Perform storm restoration duties as needed.
