Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Climber I to join our team in Thousand Oaks, CA. This entry-level climber will perform general tree care including pruning, cabling, bracing, lightning protection, and removals.

You will support the team in site clearing and debris disposal, adhering to safety protocols and company standards. The role requires physical fitness, ability to work in outdoor conditions, and a willingness to obtain required certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 yrs climbing experience.
• Able to read and interpret various documents.
• Bilingual abilities a plus.
• Certified in EHAP, First-Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic tree care: pruning, limb removal, up to 60 ft.
• Access trees safely using company protocols after inspections.
• Operate chippers, trucks, blowers and other equipment safely.
• Use hand tools like saws, pruners, poles and rakes correctly.
• Maintain a safe and organized work zone.
• Protect people and property; prevent injuries during operations.
