BrightView Landscapes LLC in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Climber I to join our tree care team. This entry-level climber handles pruning, cabling, bracing, lightning protection, and removals, while supporting the crew with site clearing and debris disposal.

You will access trees safely, operate chippers and blowers, use hand tools, wear PPE, and follow company safety protocols. A strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions are essential; EHAP, First-Aid and CPR certification are

Qualifications

• Follow procedures related to roping and rigging, maintenance of equipment, adjustments to equipment, and reporting malfunctioning equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic tree care operations such as pruning and limb removal on the ground and in trees up to 60 feet.
• Access a tree safely according to company protocols.
• Operate powered equipment such as chippers, trucks, and blowers.
• Use hand tools like saws, pruners, and rakes to perform tasks.
• Maintain a safe and organized work zone.
• Ensure safety to prevent property damage and injury during operations.
