Job summary

BrightView Landscapes LLC in Chelmsford, MA is seeking a Climber I to join our tree care team. This entry-level role performs pruning, cabling, bracing, lightning protection, and removals, with support for site clearing and debris disposal.

You will climb safely, operate chippers and chainsaws, use handheld tools, follow PPE standards, and communicate clearly with teammates to keep work zones safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated tree-care skills or verifiable experience in arboriculture.
• Ability to follow procedures related to roping and rigging and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to interpret instructions and write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Perform pruning and limb removal in trees up to 60 feet tall.
• Access trees safely and move through canopy while protecting property.
• Safely operate chippers, trucks, and blowers.
• Use chainsaws and tree-care tools with proper technique.
• Maintain safe, organized work zones and follow PPE protocols.
• Communicate with climbers using hand signals and with the public to ensure safety.
