Qualifications

• Valid Iowa driver's license and clean driving record.
• 5+ years of professional arboriculture experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or crew leadership experience.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• ISA Certified Arborist and pesticide applicator license preferred.
• TCIA Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) and First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
• Experience using Aspire or similar management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead arbor crews and supervise daily operations in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids.
• Ensure safety, quality, and OSHA/ANSI TCIA standards compliance.
• Schedule pruning, removals, cabling, bracing, and plant health care.
• Monitor budgets, labor hours, and production goals.
• Develop team members and identify future leaders.
• Maintain equipment and resources; support business growth.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with sales opportunities and site evaluations.
