Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking a proactive, commercially minded Sales Specialist / Senior Sales Specialist for our client in Atlanta, GA. This customer-facing role is designed to evolve into independent account management and business development, starting with existing accounts, customer orders, and sales activities.

You will manage relationships, coordinate quotations and orders, and support forecasting while building knowledge of para-aramid products and industrial markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Marketing, Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• Approximately 1–5 years of professional experience.
• B2B sales, account management, customer-facing, or industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop customer relationships and support day-to-day commercial activities.
• Coordinate quotations, pricing, forecasts, orders, product inquiries, and delivery requirements.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing customer business and develop new opportunities.
• Build knowledge of para-aramid products, customer applications, markets, and competitive trends.
• Manage customer purchase orders and maintain accurate ERP information.
• Monitor demand, inventory, deliveries, and customer activity.
• Identify and proactively resolve customer and order-related issues.
• Support sales forecasting and demand planning.
• Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, technical teams, warehouses, and headquarters.
• Participate in customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
• Progressively assume greater account ownership and business development responsibility.
