Job summary

Amphenol Aerospace Operations seeks a Sales Account Manager to join the Sales Team, covering the Dallas, TX area. You will work with targeted customers in Aerospace & Defense markets and drive account objectives.

The role involves coordinating selling strategies with Product Marketing, Program Managers, and Customer Service; maintaining and growing relationships; and traveling to accounts and factory sites as needed to secure opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business with 5 years' experience in an interconnect related field.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and adept at both oral & written communications.
• Willingness to travel 70-80% within designated geography.

Responsibilities

• Identify new account and program opportunities, setting account objectives and coordinating selling strategies with Amphenol Product Marketing, Program Managers, Customer Service Representatives & Business Unit Management teams.
• Maintain and grow current business and relationships and leverage our position to obtain additional products from other business units.
• Coordinate selling activity with distribution sales force and conduct quarterly reviews with distribution management.
• Travel with factory personnel to support design, manufacturing, quality and new opportunities; communicate next actions and owners.
• Fill out Demand Creation Power Points forms quarterly to share with Business Unit & Management teams.
