Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Farmington Hills, MI to work one-on-one with children under BCBA supervision. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and help reduce challenging behaviors.

Training is provided, and the role requires patience, teamwork, and physical stamina to assist children up to 50 pounds. Pay ranges from $16 to $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in autism support preferred but training provided.
• Ability to stand, assist children, and move in various positions.
• CPR, First Aid and TB test required or able to obtain.
• Pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support safety during activities.
