Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an experienced Supervisor, Accounts Receivable to lead daily AR workflows, analyze denied claims, and drive KPI performance. This remote role involves working with the Manager and AR Specialists, and requires coordinating with billing, coding, and revenue integrity teams.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in medical collections or related AR roles, a 4-year degree, and familiarity with AI-enabled process improvements. Willingness to travel as needed is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in medical collections, physician/hospital operations, AR follow-up, denials & appeals, compliance, provider relations or professional billing preferred.
• Knowledge of claims review and analysis.
• Working knowledge of revenue cycle.
• Demonstrated advanced usage of AI and the management of teams using AI to lean in to process and technological improvements.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily workflow of the department, monitoring progress to identify trends in denied payments by insurance companies and unpaid claims.
• Conducts team huddles to train and develop staff and shares identified trends and solutions on unpaid/denied claims.
• Ensures adherence to the departmental budget and prepares monthly reports.
• Measures productivity and quality; conducts monthly 1:1 performance reviews and documents outcomes.
• Approves timecards for payroll and verifies client assignments in Workday.
• Collects and interprets performance data to drive decisions and achieve goals.
• Collaborates with ancillary departments to meet revenue cycle objectives.
