Job summary

Ensemble is a leading provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management solutions for health systems, including hospitals and affiliated physician groups. The Supervisor, Accounts Receivable will support the Manager (or above) in developing department team members and will oversee AR Specialists, addressing problematic claims and KPI/SLAs for assigned clients.

The role includes implementing short- and long-term plans to improve revenue, working with payers, and coordinating with Coding,

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in medical collections, physician/hospital operations, AR follow-up, denials & appeals, compliance, provider relations or professional billing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily workflow of the department, monitoring progress to identify trends in denied payments by insurance companies, determining trends in unpaid claims and remediation solutions.
• Reviews Leadership No Touch Report to ensure all high dollar accounts are reviewed monthly.
• Leads team meetings and provides recap to team and leaders.
• Ensures adherence to the departmental budget, including overtime and monthly reporting.
• Establishes departmental goals with staff to optimize performance and meet budgetary goals while improving operations to increase customer satisfaction and meet financial goals.
• Maintains and communicates any associate behavior, performance and attendance issues and documents conversations in Workday.
