Job summary

Progressive-Housing-Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to support our programs' financial health. You will be the on-site contact for residents' funding, reporting to the AR Manager, and ensuring benefits stay active and accurate through RMFS and Therap data checks.

The role requires visiting government offices, strong Excel skills, and persistence in reconciling SSA records and state funding.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with RMFS, Therap, or state-billing portals is a strong plus.
• Proficient in Excel for building spreadsheets, applying filters, and tracking follow-ups.
• Self-motivated, persistent advocate for revenue and timely government agency interactions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary AR contact for residents' funding and finance health.
• Manage RMFS portal, monitor income changes, adjust liabilities, ensure SSA records align.
• Engage with SSA and DHS to resolve benefit issues and redeterminations.
• Visit local government offices in person to resolve stalls and paperwork errors.
• Review Therap resident profiles and attendance data to identify missing docs.
• Reconcile individual Social Security accounts and report accurate allocations.
• Create weekly Excel-based reports highlighting at-risk residents and funding gaps.
