Job summary

Bioworld Merchandising is seeking an AR Operations Manager to lead chargebacks and deduction management, billing, and cash application. This hands-on leadership role includes developing the team, researching issues, coordinating with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Retailers, and driving process improvements.

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business and 3–5 years in revenue operations are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or relevant field experience.
• 3–5 years’ experience in chargeback/deduction management, billing, collections, credit, and cash application, with a strong focus on retail compliance, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily AR operations across chargebacks/deductions, billing, and cash application, training staff and updating SOPs.
• Monitor AR KPIs daily (days to bill, dispute win rate, days to apply cash, etc.) and identify delays.
• Oversee chargeback and deduction management, vendor recovery and allowance tracking, and allowance accruals.
• Oversee billing to ensure invoices and credit memos are accurate and compliant; approve adjustments within limits.
• Oversee cash application, audit adjustments and deduction coding; train staff.
• Provide back-up support to Credit and Collections, including credit releases and resolving open balances.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, warehouse, logistics, accounting, and retailers to resolve AR issues.
• Lead process improvements and automation initiatives across AR to reduce chargebacks and errors.
• Support month-end close with AR and deduction reconciliations and reserve analysis.
