Job summary

DeliverIt Group, based in Sugar Land, TX, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist - Operations Support to own corporate AR and support key business operations across multiple entities.

You will invoice customers, apply cash, manage aging, and lead collections with professional communication while ensuring GL coding and timely month-end close.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of accounts receivable, billing, or commercial collections experience
• Understanding of accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software; QuickBooks preferred
• Experience with NetSuite, Sage, or similar systems is a plus
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• Strong customer service and collections phone skills
• Professional, calm, and persistent communication style
• Ability to manage a high volume of accounts and deadlines in a multi-entity environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue invoices to commercial customers and inter-company accounts
• Post customer payments from ACH, wire, lockbox, and check deposits
• Match remittances to open invoices and resolve unapplied cash
• Maintain and review accounts receivable aging reports
• Identify overdue balances and manage collections within authority limits
• Conduct professional collections outreach by phone and email
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing disputes
• Support month-end close activities related to AR and reporting
• Build and maintain Excel reports for management review
