Job summary

Muller Inc, based in Reston, VA, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to lead full-cycle AR, drive collections, and coordinate with finance, billing, and operations. This hybrid role reports to the CFO and supports multiple subsidiaries with a focus on accuracy and timely cash flow.

The candidate will manage high-volume AR activity, use QuickBooks, Sage, and related tools, and contribute to monthly/quarterly reporting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full-cycle accounts receivable and collections experience with proven results.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
• Ability to handle high activity volume: 20+ collection calls and 30–40 emails daily.
• Proficient in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Strong math/analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks; experience with other accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of accounts receivable for 5+ companies (full cycle).
• Conduct high-volume AR collections calls and correspondence; resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor delinquencies and communicate with clients to facilitate payments.
• Coordinate with operations to discuss delinquencies and collection strategies.
• Oversee QB, Sage, Lockstep, and BigTime integrations; perform reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly AR reports and KPIs for owner review.
