Job summary

KBW Financial is seeking a Back Finance Associate / AR Specialist in Natick, MA. This role supports accounts receivable, invoicing, cash applications, and month-end close activities in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years accounting experience, strong Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP), and ERP experience with NetSuite/SAP/Dynamics. A Bachelor's in Accounting is preferred, with excellent communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience, AR/billing or related functions.
• Advanced Excel, PivotTables, XLOOKUP, large datasets.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Experience with invoicing, cash application, and reconciliations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred; relevant experience considered.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with EDI systems or accounts payable is a plus.
• Self-motivated and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Process customer invoices accurately.
• Utilize advanced Excel to analyze data, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare reports.
• Assist with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Process cash receipts, apply payments, and investigate outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and accounting discrepancies.
• Support accounts payable activities, including vendor invoices.
• Assist with improving accounting processes and system efficiencies.
• Monitor receivables and assist with collections.
• Manage detailed, multi-step invoicing processes across multiple systems.
• Support additional accounting projects as needed.
