Job summary

The role supports a finance team by performing monthly bank reconciliations, fixed asset and leasing tasks, and month-end close activities. You will assist with audit support, collaborate with AP and Project Accounting, and help in documenting processes and controls.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with strong Excel skills and a detail-oriented mindset, plus good communication and teamwork abilities. Prior ERP exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Solid attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data organization).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Preferred: experience with accounting software/ERP systems (PeopleSoft, Costpoint).
• Preferred: familiarity with data analysis or reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly bank account reconciliations for various bank accounts.
• Assist with fixed asset and leasing processes.
• Support month-end close activities, including basic reconciliations and data validation.
• Assist with audit support and internal controls administration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AP, Project Accounting) to gather information and resolve discrepancies.
• Help track and reconcile various data points as needed.
• Identify and document process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Build and maintain process flows, job aids, and process documentation.
