Job summary

Cambridge Technologies is seeking a Finance Assistant/AR Specialist to join our Worthington, MN team. This non-exempt, hourly role supports accounts receivable, processes payments, and assists with customer communications and statements.

You will back up accounts payable and help with basic office tasks while ensuring accuracy in billing, cash deposits, and CRM notes. Strong Excel skills and ERP familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance preferred but not required.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel, word, teams.
• Experience in Microsoft Business Central or other ERP system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable: Collect payments, update AR records, and make bank deposits.
• Contact past due accounts to request payment or arrange payment plans; enter notes into CRM.
• Mailing and emailing of monthly customer statements.
• Collecting Tax Exempt certificates.
