Job summary

illycaffè North America (ICNA) is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable and Deductions Analyst for our New York City office. The FT role requires three days per week in the NYC office, with responsibilities across the AR and deductions function within a CPG environment.

You will analyze customer accounts, resolve deductions, support cash flow, and contribute to month-end close and financial reporting processes. Strong Excel/Word skills and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable/collections in a consumer goods setting with strong deductions experience.
• Ability to work with database systems and retrieve relevant information from existing facilities.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Process and apply customer payments via wire transfers, ACH, credit cards, and other methods; investigate deductions and disputes.
• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and AR balances reconciliation.
• Manage invoicing and collections cycle: posting invoices, monitoring accounts, processing payments, maintaining records.
• Analyze AR data: aging, delinquencies, reconciliations, status reviews to support collection efforts.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to process deductions, promotional allowances, and trade spending.
