Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a senior leader to oversee Accounts Receivable, credit management, and collections across business units. You will drive cash flow improvements, manage DSO, and enforce credit policies in a shared services environment.

Responsibilities include leading AR transformation initiatives, automation, and stakeholder collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Finance to enable profitable growth. Strong Excel and SAP expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• 6+ years in credit, collections, and AR in high-volume setting.
• Proven AR transformation, process improvement, automation, and systems optimization.
• Experience in a shared services environment influencing stakeholders.
• Strong cash flow improvement and bad debt minimization experience.
• Knowledge of credit risk assessment, customer management, and collections.
• Advanced experience with ERP systems and SAP preferred.
• Proficient in AR reporting, analytics, KPIs, and dashboards.
• Experience with automation and digital tools to improve AR.
• Strong Excel skills and credit management software.
• Fluent English in written and verbal communication.
• Lean methodologies knowledge; Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead AR, credit, collections, disputes across assigned business units.
• Drive improvements in DSO, overdue receivables, dispute aging, and cash forecasting.
• Establish and enforce credit policies, approval authorities, and risk controls.
• Optimize and automate AR processes, controls, reporting, and workflows.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve issues.
• Provide functional leadership to AR and Collections teams with KPIs.
• Lead AR-related system implementations and process improvements; drive adoption.
