Job summary

Roof Penetration Housing LLC in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Credit & Accounts Receivable Specialist. This full-time, in-office role reports to the Assistant Controller and requires up to 5% travel. You will manage the full credit cycle, vet new customers, set credit limits, and maintain AR to ensure timely payments.

We value experience in construction or building products. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and a starting salary range of $50,000–$60,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in B2B credit, collections or accounts receivable.
• Hands-on experience evaluating customer credit and setting credit limits.
• Working knowledge of AR aging, cash application and month-end reconciliation.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, filters).
• Must have experience with an ERP or accounting system, NetSuite a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review credit applications for new customers and assess references and credit reports.
• Assess creditworthiness and recommend payment terms and initial limits.
• Re-evaluate existing accounts and adjust limits or holds as needed.
• Release or hold orders based on credit limits and balance status.
• Apply customer payments and reconcile unapplied cash.
• Set up payment plans and escalate delinquent accounts as needed.
• Prepare weekly AR aging and collections reports; assist month-end close.
