Job summary

Brite is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Coordinator to manage invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliations. The role partners with Sales, Customer Success, and accounting to keep receivables current and improve billing experiences for customers.

Reporting to the Controller, the ideal candidate has several years in AR or accounting and seeks more ownership. Position supports month-end close, DSO reduction, and collaborative cross-functional initiatives in a SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years in accounts receivable, collections, or related finance function.
• SaaS or subscription experience preferred.
• Experience with billing, CRM, or subscription platforms (NetSuite/Salesforce/Zuora/Stripe) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of customer accounts and drive timely collections.
• Generate and issue invoices per contract terms and schedules.
• Apply payments daily and resolve unapplied/misapplied cash.
• Support vendor data reconciliation and ad hoc reporting requests.
• Investigate billing discrepancies with Sales and Customer Success.
• Prepare and distribute weekly AR aging reports.
• Reconcile AR subledger to general ledger monthly.
• Collaborate on past-due accounts and write-off recommendations.
• Respond to customer inquiries about invoices and balances.
• Vet customers for credit terms and limits with sales/finance.
• Maintain accurate customer master data (billing contacts, terms).
• Support month-end close activities and close analysis.
• Identify process improvements to reduce DSO.
