CB Insights is seeking a Senior AR Analyst to own the billing life cycle from invoicing to collection, ensuring accurate records and healthy cash flow. You’ll collaborate with accounting, sales, customer success, and legal teams to resolve disputes and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 4+ years of accounts receivable or similar accounting role.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in account reconciliation, data entry, and record-keeping.
• Experience reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain customer invoices with accuracy and timely delivery.
• Monitor AR aging reports and identify overdue payments.
• Initiate collection efforts via calls, emails, and written correspondence.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies between system records and statements.
• Investigate and resolve account disputes, billing errors, and unapplied credits.
• Post customer payments and apply credits to accounts.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and collection attempts.
• Prepare periodic AR status and collections reports.
• Coordinate with sales and customer service to resolve billing issues.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including account reconciliation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in AR operations.
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements to workflows and systems.
