Job summary

New Earth Residential is seeking a Centralized Accounts Receivable Specialist and Community Manager (2 days a week) to oversee AR for multiple apartment communities and support onsite teams. The role blends accounting, customer service, and collections to improve financial health across the portfolio.

You will work with regional leadership, ensure accurate resident ledgers, and assist with month-end processes while maintaining confidentiality and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in multifamily property management, accounting or AR.
• Experience reviewing resident ledgers and discrepancies.
• Strong knowledge of AR, collections and resident ledgers.

Responsibilities

• Manage AR for an assigned portfolio of apartment communities.
• Review resident ledgers daily for accuracy and completeness.
• Post adjustments, corrections, write-offs, and credits.
• Research and resolve discrepancies.
• Process NSF payments and reversals.
• Audit balances for accuracy.
• Assist onsite teams with billing questions.
• Review move-out balances before collections.
• Review delinquency reports and contact residents.
• Monitor payment arrangements and collect on delinquent accounts.
• Prepare AR reports and assist month-end processes.
• Provide AR training to onsite teams.
• Ensure policy compliance and support portfolio performance.
• Assist with coordination of legal action when needed.
