Job summary

EPAC Management in Vineland, NJ is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support resident accounts and daily accounting tasks. Responsibilities include processing payments, preparing vendor payments, and reconciling bank and credit card statements.

Qualifications

  • Previous accounts receivable, collections, bookkeeping, property management, or related administrative experience is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle payment conversations professionally and respectfully.
  • Experience with account reconciliation and basic financial processes.
  • Familiarity with Entrata or another property management or financial software platform is preferred.
  • Accurate data-entry and 10-key skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Record rent payments, tenant credits, and other account activity accurately and promptly.
  • Use Entrata and related systems to track accounts receivable activity and document collection efforts.
  • Enter vendor bills into QuickBooks and code expenses to the appropriate property and account.
  • Prepare and print checks for vendor payments while maintaining accurate supporting documentation.
  • Maintain current and accurate vendor records, including W-9 documentation.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis and investigate discrepancies as needed.
  • Perform accurate data entry, coding, filing, and other accounting-related administrative tasks.
  • Protect confidential financial, vendor, and resident information and handle sensitive payment matters with professionalism.

Accounts Receivable Specialist

Backed by decades of property management experience, our team manages nearly 1,000 residential units and is committed to maintaining high-quality housing while serving residents with professionalism and respect.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the financial operations of our residential portfolio. This role combines resident account management with day-to-day accounting support, including monitoring outstanding balances, collecting past-due rent, recording payments and credits, entering vendor bills, preparing checks, maintaining vendor records, and completing monthly bank and credit card reconciliations. The right candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable discussing sensitive payment matters, and able to maintain accurate financial records while providing professional service to residents, vendors, and property management teams.

Pay and Benefits
  • Full-time, W-2 employment.
  • Pay: $19.89 - $21.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
