Job summary

Encore Fire Protection is seeking an AR Collections Supervisor in Needham, MA to lead a pod of collectors, drive DSO improvements, and ensure adherence to workflows. You will coach, review performance, and manage day-to-day collections across a decentralized customer base.

The role requires 3+ years in AR/collections, strong coaching skills, and experience with Esker and Excel. A PE-backed, metric-driven setting is a plus; reporting to the AR Collections Manager.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts receivable or collections experience, including mentoring or informal leadership.
• Proven track record of strong performance in a high-volume environment.
• Experience in decentralized, multi-location, or field services business is a plus.
• Proficiency with Esker and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to coach others.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise a pod of AR Collectors with daily coaching and accountability.
• Monitor activity and aging to reduce DSO and prioritize high-risk accounts.
• Escalate disputes and complex cases to the Collections Manager.
• Produce pod-level KPIs and collaborate with operations to resolve root causes.
• Ensure adherence to collections workflows and Esker-based processes.
