Job summary

Vesta Home in California is seeking a hands-on Accounts Receivable & Collections Supervisor to lead daily billing and cash collection for our growing multi-market operations. You will supervise offshore Billing and Collections/AR teammates and own reconciliations through month-end close.

You’ll be equally comfortable coaching the team and handling key contacts with customers on past-due balances. You will mentor the team, improve processes with Upflow and other tools, and deliver weekly AR and

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Order-to-Cash or related accounting.
• 1–2+ years in a supervisory or team-lead role within AR, billing, or collections.
• Strong knowledge of AR aging, collections, invoicing, cash application, credits, refunds, and reconciliations.
• Experience supporting month-end close and reconciling customer sub-ledgers to the general ledger.
• Experience with offshore or internationally distributed accounting teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the AR portfolio and daily collection strategy across current and past-due balances.
• Resolve disputes, contract questions, and payment barriers, escalating when needed.
• Ensure invoices are accurate and billed on time per contracts and terms.
• Oversee recurring rental billing, start dates, prorations, move-outs, and exceptions.
• Apply payments and clear unapplied cash; perform month-end close reconciliations.
• Lead and coach offshore Billing and Collections/AR team members onshore.
• Prepare weekly AR and billing reports with commentary on changes.
