Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the full AR cycle from billing to collections. The role emphasizes accurate cash applications, customer account oversight, and collaboration with the accounting team.

Qualifications

2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, and collections experience in a >$50M revenue environment.
2+ years of cash receipt application to customer accounts.
2+ years of ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Workday, GP, or QuickBooks).
2+ years Microsoft Excel experience with basic pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial entries.

Responsibilities

Oversee accounts receivable customer accounts and monitor activity for timely payments.
Lead collections on past-due balances with timely follow-through.
Apply customer payments accurately in order management or ERP systems.
Manage billing to ensure invoices are accurate and issued promptly.
Perform cash applications and allocate payments to correct accounts and invoices.
Create and distribute weekly statements for large customers.
