• Highly professional and assertive communication style, especially when partnering with Sales

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 300+ B2B customer accounts, primarily in the NJ region
• Contact 30+ customers daily via phone and email regarding past-due balances
• Partner with Sales and Operations to resolve payment disputes and negotiate payment commitments
• Review account reconciliations and follow up on past-due invoices
• Create AR reporting including DSO and AR aging reports
• Participate in weekly sales team meetings to review problem accounts and collection strategies

Ascendo Resources is currently seeking an AR/Collections Specialist for a full-time, on-site role. This role is based in Hillside, NJ and offers a salary up to $90,000.

Our client is awell-established construction services company. We are seeking an experienced AR/Collections Specialist for its New Jersey office. This is a standalone finance role based on-site in Hillside, supporting a small, tight-knit AR team (~15 employees) headquartered in Garden City, NY. You will own a high-volume commercial collections portfolio and work cross-functionally with the Sales team to resolve payment disputes and drive timely resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 300+ B2B customer accounts, primarily in the NJ region (with some multi-region accounts)
• Contact 30+ customers daily via phone and email regarding past-due balances
• Partner with Sales and Operations to resolve payment disputes and negotiate payment commitments
• Review account reconciliations and follow up on past-due invoices
• Create AR reporting including DSO and AR aging reports
• Participate in weekly sales team meetings to review problem accounts and collection strategies
