Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. is seeking an AR Collection Manager to lead the accounts receivable collection function, enhance cash flow, and mitigate bad debt in a fast-paced solar energy environment.

The role partners with Sales, Operations, Customer Success, Accounting, and Executive Leadership to resolve payment issues and strengthen collections processes. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen, analytical capabilities, and relationship management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years AR/Collections experience.
• 2+ years leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of AR aging, credit risk, and cash flow.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, Power Query).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end collections for residential, commercial, and channel partner accounts.
• Develop and implement collection strategies to improve DSO and cash collections.
• Monitor aging reports and identify delinquent accounts.
• Lead collection efforts through outreach, negotiations, and escalation procedures.
• Review and approve payment plans to minimize bad debt risk.
• Maintain accurate collection records and documentation.
• Forecast weekly and monthly cash collections to support liquidity planning.
• Identify potential collection risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Legal on disputes and liens.
• Develop AR dashboards and KPIs.
• Lead automation of collection workflows and reporting.
• Develop SOPs and internal controls for AR processes.
• Mentor AR Specialists and Collection Analysts.
