Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Accountant for AI Operations in Palo Alto to support accounts receivable and collections. The role emphasizes customer-service style interactions, adherence to SOPs, and proactive process improvements.

You will partner with Billing, Revenue Accounting, Sales, and Legal to resolve issues and support monthly closes. The ideal candidate has 1+ years in accounting, a relevant degree, and familiarity with NetSuite or Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting experience (internships count).
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA license or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support full AR/collections lifecycle including aging, outreach and dispute resolution.
• Process payments, apply payments and reconcile accounts.
• Follow SOPs for collections, suspensions, and escalations.
• Monitor DSO and maintain a clean AR ledger.
• Serve as first line of response for AR/collections inquiries via email and tickets.
• Collaborate with Billing, Sales, and Legal to resolve issues.
