Job summary

Cintas Corporation, an equal opportunity employer in Chicago, IL, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Cash Applications Representative to process payments accurately and efficiently. You will reconcile and post payments, apply payments per advice, and maintain precise transaction records in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2+ years of data entry experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Overtime or Saturday shifts may be needed to handle business volume and support collections

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or accounting courses preferred
• 2+ years of data entry experience
• Ability to work overtime and/or Saturdays when required due to business volume
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and intranet/internet

Responsibilities

• Reconcile, post and apply a high volume of payments received via lock boxes and other means
• Manage the application of payments according to payment advice
• Reconcile batches to deposit records and maintain detailed transaction information
• Support collection efforts through written communication
• Assist with training partners
