CFS has partnered with a locally owned business in Bourbon, Indiana, to identify an Accounts Receivable / Bookkeeping Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations. This role is critical for maintaining AR, bookkeeping, and financial records across multiple entities in a small-business environment.

The ideal candidate enjoys accuracy, can work independently, and is comfortable with cleanup and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Bookkeeping.
• Hands-on QuickBooks experience (required).
• Working knowledge of Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable, including billing, invoicing, and payment tracking.
• Perform basic bookkeeping for multiple entities.
• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks.
• Complete bank reconciliations and cash handling.
• Assist with collections and follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Enter and maintain financial data accurately.
• Support cleanup and organization of existing financial records.
• Utilize Excel for tracking, reporting, and reconciliations.
