Job summary

SERVPRO is seeking an AR/Collections Specialist for our Construction Division Team, based in New Albany, IN. The role focuses on billing, invoicing, and pursuing collections for past-due accounts while supporting Project Managers and field staff.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of AR/collections experience, strong QuickBooks skills, and solid communication abilities. On-site hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AR/collections experience.
• Experience with billing, payment processing, and answering phones.
• Proficient with QuickBooks and GAAP.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Highly organized and able to multi-task.
• Trustworthy, friendly, and personable.
• Dependable and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Billing and invoicing for construction work.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, and accounting team.
• Collections and past-due accounts kept under 90 days.
• Cross-trained to assist other office functions when needed.
• Update weekly and monthly collections reports for the Office Operations Manager.
• Address questions from customers and insurance carriers about payments and billing disputes.
• Answer phones.
