Job summary

OnPlace Collective is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to manage AR, AP, and billing across all divisions. You will verify contracts and service scopes are billed correctly, follow up on overdue payments, and ensure timely vendor payments.

This role reports to the Staff Accountant and is based in-person at our Sarasota, FL headquarters. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years bookkeeping experience, strong QuickBooks Online and Excel skills, and a disciplined approach to month-end close, reconciliations,

Qualifications

3-5 years bookkeeping or staff accounting experience with AR, AP and collections.
Proficient in QuickBooks Online.
Experience following up with clients on past-due balances by phone and email.
Experience reconciling invoices to contracts or complex billing.
Strong Excel skills for reconciliations and aging analysis.
Comfort with payment terms, NET cycles and vendor relationships.
Clear, kind, responsive communication.

Responsibilities

Billing Accuracy & Revenue Capture: ensure every billable service and scope is invoiced and any gaps are identified.
Accounts Receivable & Collections: manage AR aging, follow up on past-due balances, document activity.
Accounts Payable: process vendor invoices, approve and schedule payments, reconcile statements.
Month-End Close & Recordkeeping: complete AR/AP tasks, assist reconciliations, ensure audit-ready records.
