Job summary

CFS, an Indianapolis-based construction company, is seeking an AR Billing Specialist to own full-cycle accounts receivable and construction billing. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate progress billings, maintain lien waivers, and keep compliant documentation.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in AR or billing within construction or job-cost environments, with strong AIA billing knowledge and proficiency in accounting software and Excel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AR or billing experience, ideally within construction or job-cost environments.
• Strong understanding of AIA billing, lien waivers, and contract billing terms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable and construction billing processes.
• Prepare and submit AIA and progress billings in alignment with project contracts.
• Partner with project managers to ensure accurate billing and cost tracking.
• Monitor AR aging, follow up on outstanding balances, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized billing records, lien waivers, and compliance documentation.
