Job summary

Gill Automotive Group in Livermore, CA is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable clerk to support the dealership's accounting operations. The role requires at least 2 years of AR/AP experience, strong Excel skills, meticulous recordkeeping, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Qualified candidates will pass background screening and join a team focused on accuracy and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years accounts receivable/payable experience.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with management, employees, vendors, clients.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must pass background screening.
• Ability to meet very specific deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
• Reconcile AR accounts monthly and provide aging reports to management.
• Reconcile AR accounting schedules and post necessary journal entries.
• Prepare monthly statements and send to customers.
• Match invoices and reconcile vendor statements.
• Enter invoices into the system and post for payment.
• Process 1099s at year-end.
• Maintain all vendor files.
• Update and create Excel spreadsheets.
• Filing of invoices.
• Follow deadlines.
• Other duties as assigned.
