Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years Accounts Receivable experience.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to analyze and reconcile large and complex data sets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and sales.
• Make collection calls and send correspondence in a fast-paced accounting environment.
• Provide customer service regarding collection issues; prepare refunds and account adjustments; resolve discrepancies and short pays.
• Ensure adherence to credit policies and procedures for consistent handling of collection matters.
• Research and respond to AR inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and sales representatives to handle customer requests.
• Communicate and follow up effectively with customers on accounts.
• Prepare monthly AR condition reports.
• Improve receivable turnover through efficient collections and maintain customer relations.
• Identify problem accounts and provide regular updates to Controller.
• Assist in developing and updating procedures as needed.
• Run sales reports from database and upload to spreadsheets for analysis.
• Research and resolve transactions in unapplied accounts.
• Monitor credit holds and lines of credit.
