PlanCraft is seeking an AR Accountant to own end-to-end accounts receivable across multiple European markets and to integrate Stripe reconciliation and VAT checks into monthly closes. You will improve processes, automate routine tasks, and partner with Customer Success to scale as we expand.

You will work in a remote-friendly environment with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and operational excellence in AR, billing, and cash visibility across SaaS platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on AR experience in accounting or related role.
• Clear and proactive English communication, written and spoken.
• Understanding of AR end to end: invoicing, cash allocation, dunning, reconciliations.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and document support.
• Experience with Stripe and reconciling payment data against ERP.
• Structured, proactive, and able to follow workflows in a remote environment.
• Interest in automation and AI to improve Finance processes.
• Knowledge of VAT on receivables across European markets in a SaaS context.
• Experience in SaaS, subscriptions or digital business models.

Responsabilités

• Own Accounts Receivable end to end: invoicing, cash allocation, open items, AR subledger.
• Own Stripe in Finance: payouts, fees, failures, refunds, disputes, chargebacks and monthly close.
• Keep AR close-ready: investigate unmatched transactions and aging.
• Run collections across markets: manage dunning, overdue invoices, handovers.
• Manage credit notes and write-offs with defined policies.
• Apply VAT rules consistently across markets and resolve ambiguities.
• Run AR as a reliable internal service via ticket queues and 48-hour SLA.
• Build scalable SOPs, controls, and handover docs.
• Automate recurring work and test AI-driven workflows.
• Scale AR processes across Europe as PlanCraft expands.
