Job summary

Multiview is seeking an AR Staff Accountant to support daily accounts receivable operations by accurately recording customer payments, reconciling cash activity, and resolving discrepancies. The role supports month-end close and audit activities in a SOX-compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate strong initiative.

Responsibilities

• Accurately apply customer payments received by check, ACH, wire, and credit card to the correct customer accounts and invoices.
• Prepare and post cash receipts promptly with proper documentation.
• Review cash and credit card reports, research discrepancies, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve unapplied or incorrectly applied payments.
• Prepare daily cash balance analyses and communicate discrepancies or outstanding items.
• Process cash deposits and assist with monthly bank reconciliations, researching and resolving reconciling items.
• Support month-end close by preparing balance sheet reconciliations and schedules within deadlines.
• Perform assigned SOX controls and maintain evidence of control performance.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audit requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve cash application and reconciliation processes.
• Complete additional accounting assignments and ad hoc requests as needed.
