Pima County Parks & Recreation seeks an Aquatic Supervisor to lead the aquatic management team across county facilities, including coordination with the Northwest YMCA-Pima County Community Center. The role involves training, staff oversight, operations, and programming support for diverse populations.

The position may require mornings, evenings, weekends and some holidays, with schedule rotations. Strong leadership and lifeguard-related certifications are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard certification and Swim Instructor or Lifeguard Instructor status required.
• Two seasons as Lifeguard (60 days/season) OR two seasons in lead/supervisory capacity with lifeguards.
• On-boarding may accept various crossovers with verified status.

Responsabilités

• Supervises, trains and assigns duties to pool personnel.
• Prepares and monitors lifeguard work schedules for coverage.
• Oversees payroll, cash procedures and small-amount funds.
• Coordinates training to certify swim instructors and lifeguards.
• Leads community outreach and aquatic programming.
• Resolves customer issues and implements corrective actions.
