Job summary

Six Flags St. Louis is seeking a qualified Aquatics Supervisor to oversee the daily operation of the Aquatics Department, uphold safety, service, and cleanliness, and guide a team through trainings and scheduling.

You will coach staff, perform program audits, manage guest concerns, monitor budgets, and act as Duty Manager when needed. The role requires an instructor license and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in all weather.

Qualifications

Must obtain Lifeguard Instructor license.
Shifts include nights, weekends, holidays.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Outdoor work in varying weather.
Experience at aquatics facility preferred.
Professional, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

Coordinate Leadership schedules, In-service trainings, and department trainings.
Internal auditing of programs and procedures.
Assist with Guest concerns and questions.
Monitor operating expense budgets.
Coordinate employee relations activities.
Review incident reports.
Serve as the Aquatics Duty Manager in the absence of the Aquatics Full-Time Supervisor, ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained.
Provide an environment that motivates and encourages staff retention.
Other duties as deemed necessary by Full-Time Management.
